Lissa Leon began her career as an international fashion model before transitioning to beauty and wellness. She has appeared in numerous magazines worldwide including Cosmopolitan and Allure, and walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana, Verace, Diesel, Mila Shon, and Onyx Jeans. An expert in nutrition and natural health for more than a decade, Lissa holds degrees in psychology and nutrition, is board certified in holistic health, and completed over 500 hours in esthetics. She has certifications in yoga, wellness coaching, aromatherapy, crystal healing, and is an Usui Reiki Master Teacher. Additionally, Lissa completed The Path of Self-Realization and Kriya Yoga through Yogananda Institute and Ananda Sangha. She speaks Italian, English, Spanish, and French.

 

Lissa counsels women using a holistic approach to beauty and wellness. She empowers women to reach their potential through consultations in plant-based nutrition and natural beauty. Lissa is the author of Supernatural: How to Use Meditation + Plant Foods

to Revive Beauty and Reverse Aging, as well as two books for children about mindfulness titled, Honey Bunny and The Magic Within Us. Lissa was also the founding Editor-in-Chief of Ecostyle Magazine, one of the world's first online green fashion magazines in 2009, and was a contributing editor to Wellness, 25A Magazine, and Vegan Era. Her wealth of knowledge, compassion, and mindfulness make Lissa a unique integrative practitioner that aims to help women awaken their innate beauty and activate wellness within. 

She lived in Milan and Paris, and currently resides in New York with her husband, world-renowned functional neurologist,

Dr. Shannon Leon, and their two children, Zen and Zohar.
